Feather on the Breath of Ellulianaen by Robert Denethon   

This is the first book of the trilogy which makes you want to read more.  Robert Denethon style of writing is a combination of fantasy and ultra-reality. As an adult I was transformed into the story line of Elves, Gryphons, Dragons, and mysterious creatures Wyverns.  Gryphons have a code not to trust humans but find a joint effort is the only way to fight the evil elf wizard. 

The book is about Hwedolyn coming of age and finding that trusting in the God Ellulianaen can provide protection even when he questions Ellulianaen’s existence.  It reminded me of today’s youth raised in a church with the knowledge of God and Jesus but in the end have to make a personal commitment to trusting Him. 

The book further details family relationships, loss and recovery.  Add twists and turns, adventure, battles and little demonic elves and you have one of the best books on the market.
