Omega 3 Supreme

Life and Foods have developed a pharmaceutical grade concentrated fish oil that contains over 75% Omega-3s (1050 mg Omega-3), superior compared to other brands with 70% and LOWER. Our Omega-3s contains ABOVE the daily minimum requirements of 1,000 mg (1g) of Omega-3s with 644 EPA/336 DHA per serving. For those of us who wonder where the product is manufactured Life and Foods only use USA Manufactured and laboratory tested in FDA, GMP, NSF certified facilities

I have used fish oils for my eyes but the Omega 3 Supreme is far superior for eye health. The most fantastic reason to purchase this is NO Fish Burps

Are you getting enough omega-3s?  Take the quiz at http://alwaysomega3s.com/  I scored 447mg score recommended is 500 mg.

Like them on their Facebook page as they have promotions and give-a-ways throughout the year.

I have listed what the website states is the reason for the use of Omega-3s.

Heart
As part of a healthy lifestyle, omega-3s may help you maintain healthy blood pressure, support healthy triglyceride levels and manage your risk of heart disease.
Brain
The omega-3 DHA makes up a large percent of the brain and helps support brain health during all stages of life.
Eyes
DHA is a major structural fat in the retina of your eye and plays an important role in visual development and function throughout life.

My great niece was having a baby and I made her a pocket album with journaling tags.  It was delightful to hear the awes and I want one comments.

Her Prayers Soar

Magpie doll quilt number 2 was challenging as I had to really think about everything.  I am learning the skills of free motion quilting (also an experiment).  Ruffles trial… I now know why people invest in a ruffling foot.  Her Prayers Soar on Angel’s Wings.

Magpie Doll Quilt

I was blessed with a magpie doll kit from Carrie Payne, www.believemagic.com.  She is also my daughter who is delightfully creative and a blessing.  I was again out of my comfort zone.  Do not get me wrong I have sewn forever but to create a pallet of art using cloth was new to me.  Here are the results.  She does not have a true square background but she is just fine.  Her Heart Swirls over Trinkets.

Christmas Cards

Before Christmas I found a magazine “Make Christmas Card Bumper Pack.”  It had a set of stamps, embossing folder borders, lots of paper and ideas.  I used the stamps to create cards using a medium I was not use to, like embossing on velum.

I used the decoupage sheets to make cards for the grandchildren.

And the embossing folder borders created this design of Merry Christmas (on the top left) by inking the folder.

I also used copper embossing powder to create this card on the bottom right,

Don’t you just love getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things?

I have neglected my blog for a few months and I hope you enjoy the projects that I have made.  I did a collection of art trading cards. I swap ATCs at www.scrapbook.com with Marci Bensing as the host.  She just celebrated the 2 year anniversary as host for this swap.

In the category of anything goes, I found an old tattered story book and loved the angels.

In the category sports I went to a soccer theme.

In the category of celebrate any month I chose February as that is also my birthday and President Lincoln became my star.
