Book review: Mical’s Window by Rachelle Ayala

This is a great historical novel.  I have always wondered about Michal the first wife of David after reading about David and Michal in 1st and 2nd Samuel. And then 2 Smauel 6:23 closes Michal’s story with a sad report, it says that out of the many wives of David in the Bible, "to her dying day Michal, daughter of Saul, had no children.” Rachelle Ayala does not stop there. Through use of historical landscapes and dialogues she spins a credible and somewhat steamy story that makes you think this could have really happened

Altered Mason Jar Swap by Scrapbook.com

One of my favorite websites is Scrapbook.com. I can purchase supplies and join the forums.  My first is the 2013 birthday card swap and then one of my sisters decided to have an Altered Mason Jar Swap.   I joined the Steampunk and Anything Goes swap.  Below are my creations which basically look similar. I used black scrapbook dazzles from Hot Off the Press and Purple Lovely Ladies dazzles with a Joline flower.
